Man Found With Crack Cocaine Ran Onto I-83 To Avoid Arrest: State Police
A Harrisburg man was tased and arrested in Swatara Township on Wednesday after running onto I-83 to escape drug charges, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Donte Parker, 27, ran onto the northbound side of the highway around 7 p.M. After troopers found drug paraphernalia in his car during a traffic stop, police said.
A short chase ensued, which ended with Parker being tased and handcuffed, according to a state police report.
Police said they found crack cocaine in Parker’s pockets.
He was arraigned and charged with drug offenses, in addition to resisting arrest.
